Ever since the Fuzzing Nation EP Into the Desert came out, some months ago now, it was immediately blasted at full volume at the Midnight Whiskey Massacre lair, such was the greatness of the opening sound.
I couldn’t help but be sucked in and hooked by the opening riff and rather bombastic sound of the title track Into the Desert. Fuzzing Nation is on to something here, mate!
With a very low-slung, fuzzy-sounding groove and style, this will immediately tingle and set off your desert and stoner rock senses. You can’t help but dig the cool, heavy, desert rock vibes that Fuzzy Nation launches out at you, so much so that when you listen to this record, it is highly likely that you will probably find that you just cannot help listening to it without a swagger in your step, whilst wearing a big smile and grin on your face!
The energetic, but also laid back vibes and sound of Fuzzing Nation back fond memories of the likes of such greats as Kyuss, Fu Manchu, etc, but with a more modern take and certainly with a difference, as the band and their songs have their own unique sound, style, and stoner rock spirit.
With a great, pounding rhythm section, the bass and drums sound superb and perfectly match the interesting and excellent-sounding guitar work, combined with a vocalist who has a very unique and great-sounding voice, which works really well with the rest of the music here and keeps you coming back for more.

This is great work and an excellent sounding, well-produced EP, and one that every stoner rock fan should certainly take the time to hear! Really looking forward to seeing what Fuzzing Nation do in the future, and hopefully we will all get to see them play live near us very soon.
