LONG ISLAND, NY — King Bastard, the heavy psychedelic metal band out of Long Island, is proudly announcing its It Came From the Void vinyl release tour—a multi-day tour kicking off on April 5, 2023, and sponsored by The Cosmic Peddler. The tour celebrates the vinyl release of the band’s stellar 2022 debut album and will carry the band to shows in Texas and back to New York.

“We’re really excited to be working with Paul and The Cosmic Peddler on this,” says bassist Arthur Erb. Our drummer, Matt, had been a customer for a long time—even before the record was finished. As we started planning for vinyl, working with The Cosmic Peddler was a natural conclusion.”

The feeling is mutual, says Paul Huff, the owner of The Cosmic Peddler. “The concept of the album was really cool, and the band works hard. Plus, it’s a heavy instrumental album, and I love heavy music.”

Paul has been instrumental in helping the band plan their tour through Texas and in getting their album finally pressed and released on vinyl—something that was partially made possible by Jenn D’Eugenio of Gold Rush Vinyl.

Vinyl copies of It Came From the Void will go on sale on The Cosmic Peddler website on April 5, the first day of the tour, with the first 20 records sold being autographed by the band. The following week, any remaining stock will be available on the King Bastard Bandcamp page.
